i don't know how much brake pad life you have, so for precaution, buy the brake wear sensors, they're only a few dollars at an MB dealer.

as far as pads go...all of them make dust, my brembo's make about the same as stock, so unless your doing something with the car ie: road racing, the stock pads will do quite the job. Remember the harder the pad, your rotors will warp more easily, so now you will looking to buy rotors also! So if your just driving the car normal, with the occasional hit here and there...stay stock!!!
As far as step by step pad replacement, ill try and work on some pics and instruction , but its so easy you wont need them, my best advice is to just look at them, you will probably say to yourself ...thats it! |

i did a search before i had to replace my brake pads too. There is a step by step guide with pics on the w211 forums.
i saw the guy do it. easy to do. i iwill be doing my own brake pads from now on. |
