Clk55 Lowering Help!?!??! W208

I want to Lower my W208 Clk55. I've read alot of posts but I haven't gotten a clear answer. If I buy Bilstein Sport Shocks aren't they just the same shocks that are on the car now??? If I buy H&R Springs do I need to buy different shocks or can I just use the ones that I have with different pads??? What seems to be the best combination??? Can you use the same items that go on a CLK430 or is it totally different?? THANKS!!! To remove this ad, register today or login if you already are registered!

Do you want to change the handling characteristics of your car?

If not, and you simply seek a 1.25-1.5 inch drop, why not consider installing euro-spec springs? You won't have to change the dampers as this setup is the factory-spec engineered for Europe.
