You may have already done this but just in case, go to the Tire Rack (www.tirerack.com) and you can gain a wealth of knowledge before you settle down on a wheel / tire combo even if you do not buy one of there wheels.
You will also want to calculate the circumference change (if any) your new set will have over your stock rims and tires. Some people don't care about overall ratio differences but I like my speedo to be accurate and a smaller overall circumference over stock at the rear wheel means slower ET's. Just my thoughts… Let me know if you need help calculating the ratios. Happy shopping...

Oh, I almost forgot... Everything I saw at a quick glance tells me the E55 rim should fit your W209 but double check with a trusted source to make sure.
I see a lot of 19x10's available for the rear on a W209 so that should support at least a 11.5" rear tire width. I have 17x10.5 FR500's on the back of my stang with BFG KD 315/35-17's which are slightly over 12.5" wide when mounted. Trust me, anything over 9" wide rims demands a second look. It is definetly worth the extra dough for a wider rear IMO. Last thing is if your car is lowered, the wheel offset will be one of the most important things to know. Depending on how low your car is lowered (if at all), you may have to calculate the width of your rear wheel from the offset to the tire's outer edge so that it "tucks" under the fender and doesn't rub when people sit in the back seat. Just my thoughts… Let me know if you need help with anything. Happy shopping... width of the wheel.

while wheel size is important the off-set is even more important for that given size. Some 18x8 and 18x9 wheels will fit and others will not.
Check the off-sets with wheels that are made to fit the car and see how they stack up. A mm here and a mm there will make a wheel not fit so check twice or three times to make sure before you plunk down the $$$. |

the widest rear tire you can put on a 209 on a 19in wheel w/o rubbing is a 265, i had a 275 and there was minimal rub (i didnt give a ****). the fenders near the bumper had to be grinded down though
go w/ 8.5 235 fr. and 10 in 265 or 275 rr. on 19's

Its a combo of the tires and the offset of the rim. Again, i believe it will rub...
