New CLK55 Prices?

Does anyone know what the MSRP of the new CLK55 will be and when will it be coming to the US? TIA

, as for the price, i dont know, but i would venture to say that the starting price would be in the mid to upper 60s, maybe 70,000. hopefully someone has found exact numbers and can be of more help.

i am also guesstimating that the new clk55 will be around $70K. If u check MB canada's site, u can get the price of what the clk55 would be priced over there, throw in about $10K and u will pretty much have the US price.

Thanks for the responses, what about release dates and engine specs? I dont think its getting the S/C 5.5 from the E, SL and CL. Is it worth waiting for or should I just go for the CLK500? Is the AMG body kit available for the CLK500 yet? Thanks.

www.evosport.com for all your MB needs, they are a kleemann dealing as well as whatever else you want performance-wise. throw an email to Mach430 (ben@evosport.com), he can help you with whatever you need. i am very happy with what they have done for me, i will be adding some more goodies to my CLK soon...

and the CLK500 comes with the AMG bodykit stock in the States, dont know that i have seen it for sale yet anywhere, but you could always buy it from your dealer but thats always pricey....

Thanks for all the help guys, so are there any exterior differences between the CLK500 and CLK55? As long as the 500 comes with the AMG body kit? Not including the rims, as i plan on replacing those anyway.

exhaust is different....suspension i believe also (current CLK55 rides about 1/2" lower), many interior differences though....

+ three super important.... trasmition (Speedshift) and calibrated ESP, BAS, ASC. + better calipers and breaks.....

I always benchmark the W209/CLK55 & CLK50K to exactly
know the ROI.
Stuff I need from CLK55 are 320(200 mph) speedo meter,
spoiler that only CLK55AMG appears and I've ordered both.
They're minor anyway, aftermarket mods already seperate
these two in different performance league.

AMG speedshift is the best wonderful thing, those non-AMG model owners still dream on it.
