New Mod not sure I like it?

It’s a handle for the trunk. With this handle you don’t have to touch the paint.
The handle on the inside is kind of awkward to use if you try and close the trunk slowly.
The handle doesn’t touch the paint; it rests on the inserts behind the plate.
It’s very functional, I’m just not sure I like the way it looks.
What do you think?

Very good idea. However, your right, it does look kinda out of place. You just have to chose whats more important to you. Fingerprints or a piece that sticks out.

If it was me personally, id take it off, and have a bottle of Meguiars quick mist detailer hidden in the trunk and give it a quick wipe when the prints build up.

the trunk release for W208 is on the center console right next to the mirror buttoms.

If you must keep it, It would probably look better if it was same color as the car.

I've got one on my car and I think it actually looks good. It adds to the classy touch of the car. Just a little more chrome but not too much. Kinda hard to see in the pictures though.... Well just my thoughts.....

I have this $20 stainless handle under license plate; use it ALL the time. It is functional and an inconspicuous design component, which blends in perfectly with the overall CLK's appearance.

Inside trunk handle is for omni-dexterous homo-sapiens, magicians and circus performers;

- in short: RIDICULOUS!
