Brand new to the forums, thanks in advance for any help!
I just purchased a 2002 CLK 55 AMG Cabriolet. It has the 'standard' stereo in it, not the nav system. It also doesn't have a CD changer.
I am picking up a CD changer -- any tricks to mounting? It looks like my car never had one, so I'm in the dark.
Also, on the head unit, is there any way to convert the 'tape' button to a direct input, for use with Sirius or an IPod?
If so, what part do I need and where can I get it? Is it a simple install, or is a professional required?
Finally, any suggestions for locating a Sirius antenna on a Cabriolet? I hate to drill holes in the body. Also, anyone know of a paintable Sirius antenna that's not to obtrusive?
Thanks again! Great to have a place to ask questions...this is my first Mercedes of any kind...I've got LOTS to learn!
