2004 CLK55 Fit & Finish...

I have a couple problems with my 2004 CLK55 (see attachments).
  1. The finish is rubbing off of the rubber or plastic under the driver’s side forward window.
  2. The chrome on the top air intake louver is peeling.
Has anyone else experienced these types of problems?
I’m going to contact Mercedes, but does anyone know off hand if these items are covered under the factory warranty?

Thanks,
Rastus

Have you tried using any kind of products on that wear mark under the window? I clean the interior regulary and I never see any wear marks like that. When's the last time you cleaned that area?

I said rubbing. That’s really the wrong word because I’ve not applied any friction to that area or even rested my arm there.
I might do a swipe with a damp towel but that’s about it.
It’s pretty disappointing.

that chrome piece you can buy at the dealer for cheap or they may even warranty it.
