Ruff Racing R280 do we have clearance Clarance?

Since I trashed set one, may the rest in pieces, I have to replace them. I like the looks of these and wonder if anyone has tried them over the AMG brakes. I sent a question into the MFG to see what they say. They are 18x8.5 and 18x9.5 with +35 offset.

From everything I've been reading, that's exactly the specs you're looking for. Should be good to go.

Really bummed, spoke whit MFG and they said no go. Would not clear the AMG brakes. I asked about a small spacer and he did not advise. Said with speed and handling it would not be good.
