They review two different cars so that that they don't have to choose one. Mustn't upset the advertisers.
But this video is double sweet. The CLK has finally found a new soul in the Black Series. At its debut, the 208 55 CLK was the fatest MB ever sold. Soon however it was an also ran. Now the 209 CLK 63 Black Series is the best handling Mercedes ever sold. Let's hope it also falls by the wayside! As for the the Alpina, the Yanks have finally got a slice of what is far and away the best variation on BMWs. The Alpinas are exquisite cars inside and out. If I ever leave the AMG marque it will be for an Alpina. |

Nice!
As a side note, I got to ride in a bunch of BMWs this past weekend and frankly I loved the 7-series despite its awkward design. The interior was a nice place to be and I kind of like the iDrive too... These Alpinas are sweet. I want the supercharged 550i (whatever it's called). |
