I have K&N's in all my cars and never had a problem. Some suggest Green filters. Others are stock and still have great 1/4 times. You will need a torx driver to open the airbox. The whole assembly will pop straight up and off it's clips without tools.

I haven't checked in 6 mths but I bought the latest then. DVD's still have to be updated just like cd's which are released from time to time. A right answer today is outdated tomorrow. Check with your dealer.

Performance is a general description!
Here's some under $1K ideas.
For h.p./torque-tune up changed all fluids, air filters, ecu reprograming.
For cornering performance perform any repairs nec, better tires, alignment, lower car, lighter wheels than those heavy 2 piece ones, sway bars, stiffer bushings.
For braking performance, better pads, better brake fluid, stainless brake hoses, brake cooling ducts, crossdrilled/slotted discs.

They cruuuuissse better, and are true pillarless coupes with the top up and windows down.
The top is directly connected to mother nature, every time I wash it lately and drop the top, it rains. I will have our drought over with soon.
