04 Clk55amg Motorswap For E55amg Kompressor...

Would it be possible? I only ask because my CLK55 has to many miles and problems( bad valves and other issues)and the cost to repair almost equals the price of an E55 AMG motor from the scrap yard. Has anyone heard of this type of swap? With the purchase of the motor I would have tranny, harness, ecu and basically any sensor needed(including fuel pump). I own a performance shop and have mechanics so labor cost is no issue but I don't want a fabricating nightmare that will take weeks or months. Any insight on this subject would be appreciated.

and yes I checked the search engine but came up with nothing.

yes

it is possible. How much it costs I don't know. Should be easier for you than me since you have a 5 speed.

That is true. My main concern is if it would be a direct bolt in to the mounting points. The rest would be simple wiring fabs.

It's not just a bolt in swap. The engine mounts are totslly different.

Get in touch with Mbenzman! He can give you a whole lot more detail than alot of us here, concerning swapping the kompressor motor in your car.

What happened to your warranty by the way?
