some news:

will have a cloth top with large back glass window
will be on sale from May 3rd in europe
completely automatic soft top
high quality interior

interestingly there was a large mentioning of engines, saying that the top of the range will be the 367hp AMG, and a 306hp 500, but no mention of what V6 will be used (possibly to protect 320 coupe sales for this year if it indeed will be a 350) theres also a number of 4 cyl and a diesel for the first time.

Anyways, I think the car is looking good

which is very probable, if you look at the instrument binnicle of the AMG car, it looks as if it came from the SL 55...I think the pics do give you a good idea of what the car will look like, the site I got the info from is

does anyone else agree with me when i say that " the AMG exhaust pipes on the first pic are on the wrong side?"

yeah whats the deal with the exhaust system coming to the other side of the car?????? seems weird that the cab would be different than the coupe, which would also make it different from every other Mercedes EVER!!! maybe a little photoshop job perhaps???

That is incorrect actually, the ML exhaust exits on that side.

hold on guys, the ML exhaust outtakees are on both sides, are'nt they? And even if i'm wrong, rememeber that the ML is manufactured in the sates, and the americans HAVE TO BE DIFFERENT!

Just to add something else.. in the spy shots and the fakes, I noticed that the rear view image of the CLK55 CAB is in reverse mirror image to the original. Thats why the number plates are backwards, and the driver and exhaust pipes are on the wrong side.

Also notice that the original picture says something other than CLK55 AMG what is it?
