CLK55 on the way...

I love the w208. I had a 99 clk430 and just sold it and bought an 01 55. it's shipping out wednesday and should be here Sunday or Monday. It's a 1 owner with 42k miles, 100k warranty (until 6/2009), black w/ black interior. I'll be putting my 19" axis milano wheels on it w/ h&r springs and bilstein sport shocks. Can't wait to get it in!

Congrats. Nice move for you and the parts you will install will look nice. However, the Bilstein Sport shocks are already on your car so save them until you need them.

The car is gonna be black. I love the silver one, so It'll take getting used to. The wheels will stay silver for now...might charcoal or black them later. We'll see.

So, the bilstein sport shocks you use when lowering on H&R's are the same shocks that come factory?

It not the same shock. The stock 55 shock is a "HD" (heavy duty) type not "sport" version.

i bought the car out of nevada. wasn't worth the time/$/miles to drive it back (2k miles, 30+ hrs of driving), so i had it carried here
