Pics of New Rims for CLK55

My new HRE 19x8.5 front and 19x10 rears I love them and thanks to Peter at the wheel experts. Everything fit perfect no spacers.

Stormy,
Beautiful car with awesome HREs. I was thinking about going with HREs too. What offsets do you have? Was a 19x9 for the front too wide, also what size tires are you running? I was hoping to go with SO3s at 275/30 in the rear. Could you take a picture from the rear.

CLK55 and convertible... nice!

I would highly recommend HRE's. As far as the size I went with 265/30 in the rear. Check with peter at wheel experts he set it up all the offsets and so I can add brembos in the future.

Peter,
Any advice on HRE fitment on a CLK 55? Offsets? Max tire size for SO3s (assuming fender rolling). 275/30s look tight for the rear.

Thanks,
DC

If you can believe thats not chrome its all hand polished forged alloy. Thats what cranks up the price.

I can set it up for you , no problem. I will use a 19x10 and just bump the offset up a few mm if you want to use 275s.

If you need more info, please feel free to contact me.

The CLK55 has the old version of the AMG brakes, as does the old E55. The first car to get the new style ones was the C32 (which is a Brembo caliper if i'm not mistaken).

Peter,
What offsets would you recommend for a HRE 540R (19x8.5, 19x10) with SO3s (245/30, 275/35)? The fenders will be rolled but the width of the setup seems to be limited by the corner where the rear quarterpanel meets the bumper. It's at a higher elevation so the benefit of rolling the fender is somewhat limited compared to some other cars like an E39. I'll contact you offline on the price. Thanks for your help and great info.

How come your going with 245/30F and 275/35R? Most typical setup for this is 245/35F and 275/30R. Just wondering. What car is it?

Due to certain individuals and/or shops who have been or are trying to "steal" or "copy" our fitments and technical data, I cannot disclose the exact offsets, pad height, backspacing, rim half widths, etc... we calculated. However, I will GUARANTEE a fit for your vehicle.

There is a lot more to fitting HREs than meets the eye. I hope you understand my position. If you would like for me to elaborate, please contact me in private.

Oh, one more thing, the area in question is the part where the bumper meets the quarter panel. However, the CLK is wider in the rear than most MBs (not counting the SL of course), so a 275/30/19 R is possible provided that the car is not slammed, but just lowered regularly (by this I mean no more than 1.5 - 2")

The offsets we use on HREs are different than those used by any other mfg. For special applications, the numbers are "tweaked" depending on the situation. We use different numbers than HRE themselves do.

Thanks everyone for the comments. I was telling Peter from the Wheel Exchange, "I get people that are not into rims (like my wife) say the really like them". But unfortunately my wife continually reminds me how much they cost. She now wants new Diamond earings because I got my rims. Man this is getting expensive
