Squeaking is usually ball joints and sometimes swaybar bushings. Not likely a shock/strut or spring. Bad shocks/struts usually make a clunking or rattling noise.
But I do think that after you repair the noise, you should still get the KW's!! |

noise
I had this on my wife's c240 jacked it up and put some lub on the swaybar bushings. That was it.
