People are going to think that is the same old CLK with 378 hp and will not realize that is the 6.3 with 451. nice sleeper.

Thank you, the CLK63 is rated at 475. (C63 is 451) But it is plenty for me.

475 hp is ridiculous. damn i want 475 hp too. i can not imagine how powerful that car must feel. my 370 feels strong and can hit 60 around 5.2. what are the performance numbers on that car?

Mercedes is quoting 4.7 for 0-60. however some mags have it quicker. Car really has some balls. Looking into a Quaife diff. Mild version; 275/30/19 on 10x19 HRE 843r's.
Wild version; converting to BS panels, biggest tire I can fit(305/315/325)x19/20. Renntech shorty headers & ECU. Modifying the spare wheelwell for true dual exhaust.

I'd be interested to know where you get your work done for the BS panelling and the dual exhaust. I've been trying to find info about it online to no avail.

Congrats on the new car, and if you see a Black Clk63 rolling around Sarasota.. shoot me a rev.

Work in progress for research(not easy getting all the information). I am staying in the Chicago area til mid/late Sept. Will have solid knowledge about BS conversion at that time.

congrats, very nice car. but nothings wrong with the escalade if u want a big comfortable car and gas prices isnt a factor. Im happy with my 07 escalade, its a comfortable big car that i like to pack my friends in and go places. doesnt drive like a X5, range rover, etc. but with its 400hp V8 it gets the job done and has 4 captain chairs and 3rd row seating, its not too shabby. not the best drivers car, but who buys an SUV to drive it like a race car. anyhow, congrats, i love ur 63. ill trade u an 07 slade for it?

Are the chrome wheels a Designo only option? I was not aware of a chorme wheel option, at least not on my 2008 model year.

The chrome wheels are not a factory option. Fletcher Jones Newport added the wheels for the original owner.
