Knobs/caps for ventilated seats

My air vent control knobs for the seats are popping off and breaking like crazy. I've been searching for some replacements but have not a clue as to what the actual name of these knobs are called. Do anybody know what these knobs are called and where I could get them from? I don't have a picture of them but the knobs I'm referring to are the ones that inflate/deflate the air in the seats for the back lumbar, side and seat. Anybody??? Thanks in advanced! I have the same problem after I took the car to a car wash and the guy who did the vacuuming got 5 out of 8
I checked with the dealer and they said i have to buy the whole assembly for 80$ and they cant sell me the knobs alone , i have been looking in ebay and all over the internet with no luck yet

That's a friggin rip off I mean $80 bucks won't break the bank but it's still a rip off....not to mention they will most likely try to charge for labor too! I don't know...maybe I'll find some at a junk yard highly doubt it.....

good luck and let me know if you found any. Well i dont think it will need labor because i am not gonna replace the whole assembly but will just take the knobs off and put them in the one already installed. well I will keep looking but i guess this will be my only options here

if its for 2004 model, the lumbar seat adjustment knob is part number 169-870-03-10, its the little knobs on the sides of the seats. i was able to just buy the knobs and not the whole assembly

I just tried to find this part number on two website's that Sales Mercedes OEM parts and both show two different things???? One shows the item as a oil break:

http://www.mercedespartssuperstore.c...FSgtagodvl3XqA

The other website says it's not a stock part #

http://www.oem-mercedes-benz-parts.com/searchItem.epc

I guess the dealer should have them...

So that is the name of the caps??? If this is true then they're only
$3.71 each! Much less than the dealer! Are you sure this is correct?

when i gave him the part number to check the price he mentioned a name which i could not get clearly over the phone due to the noises in my office but when i started to describe what i am looking for then he asked for VIN and he did some checking and said yeah the part number is correct and yes it is $8.85 each to be more precise

so i went yesterday to pick up the knobs from the dealer after i received a call from them in the morning that they have arrived. left the work early because it is a 1 hr drive and they close at 6. The guy at the parts department had no clue what i was there for and he kept looking in the system for something says knobs, buttons, caps ...etc but no luck , finally he typed my name and there they are under the name of oil switches . Anyways i ordered 5 which was for $ 40 and because the parts guy felt that they should not have such a name so he gave me 10 more knobs for free so I think i got a good deal here
