visit workshop battery

ok the car has had no problems until a week after i got it back from the dealer
when ever i gas it in sports mode 3 seconds later my visit work shop red error light comes on im like ok so i slow down pull it to the side restart my car and its gone no malfunction and now my srs service light is on to i drive it the next day im at the light with a hemi 300 i got a perfect launch felt the kickdown system come into play and took the hemi b 2 car lengths 4 seconds after launch no damn error light came on so im like ok cool nothings a problem i thought so im doin a 40 roll with my buddy then kickdown right then my visit workshop light came on again now the car headlights flicker in dash and all the lights inside like pulse wtf? idk what to do and i dont wanna go to the dealer and have them feed me BS about whas wrong with the car

any feedback would b lovely

Is the battery new? They usually only last 4 or 5 years.

ooo good point ahah i didnt think of that but can i just throw a duralast battery from autozone in there because i dont feel like spending $400 at the delaer

I think my new MB battery ran about $150-ish...

Find a good independent Mercedes-Benz shop to have your car diagnosed.

what brand battery did you get? i think ima do that on my off time next week and replace the battery and see what that does btw anyone know what bulbs the headlights are? and on the DRL's im tryin to get the piaa blue led lights and if anyone knows a good brand for benz that has slim ballast for h.i.d's?

I had my shop install an OE (Mercedes-Benz brand) battery.

Drives: 03 CLK 55 AMG, IMCO muffler/Magnaflow tips, KW V1 coilovers, 19" Petrol Metrix Wheels
you can pick up a really nice red top optima battery from Costco for like $150. it is a gel battery and should give you more reliability and more power too. if it is not the battery it could be the alternator. have MB check and make sure it is putting out the required amount of power.

Looks like a battery problem, but it might be an alternator going wrong...maybe...
