Help identifying pop/tick noise, possibly from exhaust

I just started noticing a tick noise (5 second intervals) after I turn off the car. Usually happens after I've been driving aggressively and the engine is warm.

Sounds like it's coming from the exhaust manifold, which is understandable for an older vehicle. Does anyone else experience this? Should I be concerned?

Yup I'd say that is normal I've heard it a few times on my car after spirited driving on hot days.

Did you just get your clk CPTGRP? I thought I saw it on Craigslist a few weeks back........good buy if it was the same one.

Thanks for the replies guys. Yes I recently purchased it intending to use it as a pleasure use vehicle, however the 55 whispers my name every time I enter the garage. I love it.
