New V8 sports car - $18.9K

My dad used to have a 64.5 fast back Mustang (plum with white interior, 289 with Cobrajet heads) which was awesome to look at but crap to drive (as are many muscle cars from the 60's) but it had a definitely cool factor.

Long way of saying I have a soft spot for Mustangs. Anyways, this does not apply to me as I am looking for a SUV but this sounded too good to be true: NEW 2008 Mustang GT for $18.9K at Galpin Ford (normal MSRP $28K). Some of you guys spend this much on mods alone! Any ways just thought I'd share.

If the cars they're selling have ever seen press duty, walk away. I personally saw a KR grenaded at Willow. I'm sure it's being sold as a low mileage "special use vehicle".

Why would you put cj heads on a 289. That's almost as bad as the 4v heads on the low compression clevelands = poorly matched and too big.
