You might also want to consider these

I just bought these wheels for my car and I must admit they're very nice on the CLK 55. Not too flashy and really makes the car look sportier in my opinion. These are made in Germany for Mercedes Benz cars. I got the 19's with H&R springs...lowered.

I think the Petrol's will look fine. Thinner spokes make the wheel "look" bigger, plus you have AMG brakes so it can show them off well...

make sure the offsets are right in the front or they will not clear our gigantic calipers. i had a tough time finding wheels. decided to go with some Ray's forged two piece wheels. of all places i found them at tirerack.com

Yes! 1.2 (front) and 1.4 (rear) I believe. I've had them for about a week so that should be enough time for them to settle. I like how it's dropped now...the wheels look much better in person...

This is totally off topic, but Martymar, how do you like the Kenwood DNX8120? Been eye-ing it for some time now and just wanted your input.

I like it a lot. it does it all. Bluetooth, Mp3 player, DVD player, Navigation you name it! I also have it connected to my steering wheel so I can control the volume from there. Also, this might not be such a big deal for some but for me I like it alot, I'm able to put in an address of any destination while driving! I know in my Lexus IS 350 the car can't be in motion before setting the destination. Oh yeah and the back-up camera is nice too! The screen is huge at 6.9 inches and movies look and sounds really nice....surround sound feel...so I think it's one of the best head units out right now.

I was going to get those last year, but they weren't out yet. You'd definitely have to keep your brake calipers nice and clean since you can see everything behind those spokes.

stay away from Petrol. They are the lower line of wheels offered by TSW and they weigh A TON!!!!

the 2003-2005 amg calipers aren't that big - they're barely bigger than the 500 calipers. my 18's clear the calipers.

you can not buy off the rack wheels because of the calipers. they are that big. they stick out from the surface of the disc a good four inches. for a factory set-up the calipers have some serious depth.
