2002 CLK55

Hey guys I am from the C32 section. My friend has asked me to check if there are any major issues with the 2002 CLk 55's he should know about? I thought this would be the best place to ask as I know nothing about them. I know with the C32 I would not want one out of warranty.

Generally a solid and reliable car....but as you know, everything is condition and service history on these cars.

Have a thorough PPI done!

Compared to the C32, the 55 CLK is not a supercharged engine, so it is simpler and, in practice, maybe more solid. There are VERY few engine issues with the CLK 55 - as long as you're sure the car has been decently maintained it's worth taking a chance even without a warranty.

I agree. I'm a very hard driver with no engine mods..very hard on breaks, tires and really like mashing out when I can. The engine loves it

All I can say is my AMG has really grown on me...I can't wait to get another one in years to come
