I would sooner get the E55/E63 than the S. Do you like modding your cars for PWR? If you do, then I'd get the E55 in a heartbeat!

I would seriously consider getting a late model (2005/06) E55 then. The later models have the upgraded suspension and steering components from the CLS. Speaking of the CLS, you may want to consider a CLS55 also to your list. But I digress The E55 has tons of room for 2 kids, PWR, looks and is a lot easier to mod than a naturally aspirated engine like the 63 or like I'm trying to do with my C55

i dont think there are any S65s in the mid 50s... But if you can spend more S65 is the best option.

Great question. I would get an E63 or S63 and be done with it. Either way, you will miss your CLK, lol!

My question is: Can you handle a car without a warranty? If so, I think you should test your waters with a 65 something. I've seen a 2005 CL65 go for Low 50's. Car was flawless, these guys could help, ecarlink.com....OR get a E55/E63 and call it a day.....

if you want to stay German by not necessarily stay with a MB i would look at the Audi S4 and BMW M5 as well. The Audi and BMW both have nicer interiors in my opinion. The M5 has a V-10 and a better out of the box suspenion than the MB's on your list. The Audi is a sweet all around performer with all wheel drive.
