A different look for my CLK

Not yet convinced I like the change in looks, but here it is for your assessment. I like the monoblock OEM so had a second set refinished in Black Opal, dressed with a matching black Opal grill, I will have the option to change looks periodically....black for the track, and chrome for a night on the town.. take that fleabay , horrendous looking grill off your car.

it doens't matter what color you paint that POS grill, it does NOT go w/ 208's.

paint your stock grill if anything......

Actually I too am not too thrilled with the new grill and like the classic look better.. The wheels are already painted so will have to live with that, though have the chrome ones too so can swap out when i feel like it. attached an updated pic..

I think it looks sweet! Maybe your next mod could be a grill and take off your front plate!

I notice you're in DFW. Have you ever considered tuning or dynoing you CLK?

I trust AMG to have better taste than me.

I love my W208 cabriolet's wheels. Like these ones:

Do not like the chrome wheels. Really do not like black wheels. On any car. Just makes the car look like it's filthy dirty, IMHO. Don't know why it always makes me feel that way (i.e., nothing personal Zal, I react this way to every car with black wheels).

I like the older grill better too, but I think it would look better with a flat hood emblem.

Take some tips from Gizzo (car looks nice, btw)... especially about that amber front bumper marker.

I think these two things will make your car look a little more sleek and sportier.

Nice car you're showing us there! Those 17 inch stock Series I AMG wheels are classic ... but a close look at the photo reveals big AMG boxes on the back seat: 18 inch 2 piece R129 wheels on their way to the installer in Holland!
