Kleeman headers + pulley + ECU and I dont think you will get that much HP like you mentioned above.

Hey Mattt!

I don't want to hijack Marty's post, but I started a thread a month ago on this Forum titled "Question of Power".
I wanted to get my car upto 420hp but keep the car N/A. Like me you'll be lucky to reach that figure. I've got one more mod to do which is to fit my AMS headers (which is being done as we speak) then I can get the car dynoed again.

Have a read of it. At the moment I'm at around 380hp at the crank (which is about 320ish at the wheels). Without Supercharging you won't get even close to 400hp at the wheels!

Ps.
I hope you have deep pockets as $3000 is no-way near enough to get the car to 400hp Crank!

what mods would be best?
my budget is about 3,000
smog test arent and issue, just have to pay a little extra :P
Sorry but there is no way you are making that much power on a clk N/A with the original motor. If you increase your budget by several fold then MAYBE you can get to 400whp N/A but I'm talking about full engine rebuild with higher compression, all bolt ons, etc etc

The only chance you have got is with nitrous oxide injection and tuning but will $3k get you there?

Yes, the kleemann has been installed and the engine is being run in. Getting traction was initially a problem but having fitted dunlop semi slicks, bilstein PSS9 suspension plus having a quaife diff ready to go in should see it right soon I hope.
I have attempted to upload 3 pics.
