CLK430 AMG?!

I spend most of my time in the ML63 forums, but thought fellow brothers would like to see this piece of work.

As found on the local Craigslist forum:

No engine builders plaque, no AMG.

His price is in Canadian Dollars, so the price is equivalent to $19, 864.34 USD at todays exchange rate.
Still too high for a CLK 430.

lol....I guess all of the W210 E55, W208 CLK55, W202 C43 and W202 C36 guys will all go crying to the dealership since we don't have the plaque. There were a few others too ('01-'02 CL55, S55) and perhaps the first year ('02) of the C32 and SLK32.

IIRC, engine plaques were installed in the '03s and up.

He just fell into the mb canada marketing trap. For some reason mb canada puts amg badges on cars that have the amg body kit. Check out the CLKs on the site:

Are you sure the car would be badged as such from factory? Even though it doesn't explicitly state that, I know the dealership would get a fair amount of grief if there wold with the badges

Its not just Canada. I've seen brand new S550's at the dealership with an AMG Package (body kit and wheels) on them and they have an AMG badge on the back.
