I really enjoyed my Toyo T1-R as a good all around tire. The BFG G-force rocks for performance. Note that the BFG profile is a little larger than some mfr's.

Try sumitomo HTR-Z III. They grip very well dry and wet, quiet and good treadwear rating.
You can look at reviews on tirerack. Another bang for the buck is general exclaim. |

Goodyear Eagle F-1s are pretty good, so are the Toyos.

I've had good luck with PS2s, but they are expensive. I've also run T1Rs, Nitto555 (they were on the monoblocks I bought used), Falken RT615s (track use) and I'm trying some Pirelli Pzero Neros on my W124 wagon.
For the street/highway use, I really like both the T1Rs and PS2s.

I'm using the General Exclaim UHP's and I've been pretty pleased thus far, enough so that I put their touring tires on my daily. You can read the reviews on TireRack, they are a hell of a bang for the buck.

/\ agreed. I'm using General Exclaim right now as well. They grip well and very quiet. I dd my car and I dont always step it to the medal everytime and the tires do the job just fine.

These new dunlops are superb. Plus they are relatively cheap compared to the PS2's.
