HID fogs, install help?!

hey everyone, just bought me an HID conversion kit in 3000k for my 9006 fogs from HIDextra on the groupbuy forum. they have been recommended by many mbworld users.. i tried hookin em up yesterday and i could only get the right fog light to flicker once every 10 or so seconds.. the left one wouldnt even flicker.. anyone buy this kit for the CLK that can help me with detailed instructions (or even better, with pictures) ? i know its not the hardest install job, so if you feel like flaming me, dont bother, i already acknowledge im a noob and i need help To remove this ad, register today or login if you already are registered!

Haha, i like your humility. Sometimes you need capacitors to help store the charge to keep them running. You sure all the connections are solid?

i've got the exact same problem. if anyone has a definite solution please provide input.

i've tried reversing polarities, verified grounding, tried fooling the cpu by installing resistors

Resistors? If you had 55W headlights and 55W xenons, you shouldn't need resistors. If you have 35W xenons, maybe you do.

What about capacitors to hold the charge?

you should use the error cancelers.

those will supposedly stop the flickering. i think ddm tuning have a set and ijdmtoy have a set too. just google those two stores or just google HID error cancel or something.

good luck. but i hear a lot of members fix their flickering with that.
