drive them out from the outside in with a drift and hammer. then reinstall the same way with a drift to avoid damaging the paint on the caliper.

you're also missing the piece of sheetmetal that keeps the pads down from that picture. buy a set from the dealer.

anyone have any tips on removing a siezed rotor? I've been beating the tar out of it with a hammer for half an hour and is it not coming out...and yes i removed the little screw that holds it in place

it need some penetrating oil and keep hitting it with a deadblow hammer on the face NOT the braking surface. the rust beind the rotor is keeping it locked in place

Like 320 Dreamer said, but I use either a 3 of 5 pound sledge on the face. In something less than 5 minutes, there will be lots of rust on the floor, followed by the rotor. If you're using a rubber mallet or a regular claw hammer, I don't believe you'll be able to remove it.

thanks for the help guys! i ended up stripping the rotor screw on the passenger side but your tips really helped.
