So I whipped by my electronics guy i have a stock headunit in my CLK 55 AMG no navi be brief he is going to install a alpine headunit jl audio speakers all around suede headliner and a pdx amp for subs and pdx amp for my speakers and installing my two 10" type r's in a custom suede box all for about 3 grand now heres my question is it even worth changing all of this stuff I'm pretty sure bose is not that bad but i want ipod and navi so gimme some advice

apparently from all other clk members that have does the stereo upgrade say that bose is weak compared to other aftermarket stuff. wait i take that back. its like half half. some people like stock. some people like their music. if your one that likes your music, do some research and make sure your getting good speakers. i will be doing an audio upgrade myself. i have a jl 12w6 sub and probably going for speakers running at 50rms. i heard thats good enough. if your an avid music person go for higher. haha good luck

everyone who has upgraded their speakers and hu and added a sub have said it was worth it tho. lol
