Nice pics, but sorry to say that I have seen better wheels on the 208. Hope you don't take that the wrong way!!!

No offense taken. I don't really like the look of the wheels anymore either, but as far as the weight of them goes, you can't beat em. So many cool looking wheels are way too heavy (unsprung weight) for a fast car like the CLK 55.

Drives: I like the Volvo V70R and S60R - oh, and the AMG SL55 or SL65
Welll... I, for one, think those wheels are very nice.

Thumbs up Daddy Like Too - Better than stock :-(

I agree with James55 - I perfer a large/deep lip - but that's just me. I hate my AMG stock so bad I mount them on only during the winter months

I don't like the look of the stock wheels either, but those wheels and the factory tires sure rode smooth as silk for the 10,000 miles the tires lasted.

My Potenzas were okay, balance wise, but didn't compare to the factory setup. And now, my SP9000s after 2000 miles need a big rebalancing. It's hard to say if it's the tires or wheels to blame.

I think in another 8000 miles when these tires wear out, I'll put the stock wheels and some Contis on. It's hard to feel safe driving 100-130 mph, when at 70 mph, it feels like a washing machine on spin with a rug in it. (Maybe my lonely, horny aunt liked sitting on that washer, but not me.)
