01 w208 clk55 driving all f*cked up! help

my 01 clk55 has recently started driving very awkwardly in the past few days. my check engine sign is constantly on (this after having it checked out by the dealership who said it was a faulty instrument cluster, which they then replaced with a new one). also, when i step on the gas, the car doesn't really accelerate. i NEED to push down full throttle for it to even really have a shred of its normal, expected acceleration, and it's still not close to what it should be. as i push down the throttle more, nothing really happens, the rpm's SLOWLY rise with no real acceleration. so i have no idea what is going on? is it locking gears? furthermore, along with my instrument cluster being replaced, they also replaced my MAS at the same time, so i don't see how a new mass airflow sensor would be doing this. this is the first time i've experienced this with my car, but, i've read before on the forum of others experiencing this. anyone with suggestions and feedback, please help. my baby is dying! Mass sensors can be defective right out of the box (says MBTECH 208) Sounds like you need to get the dealership's shop foreman involved with your car, they know these cars best.

Personally, I think sometimes the F word is the most appropriate and direct word to describe a situation.... and your situation sounds pretty f*cked up.
