i got a used 2003 CLK55 (10k miles) at an awesome price

its got all options but park and distronic even has the 18" AMG multipiece rims which i'll part out soon
color is pewter with charcoal tone

Whats the story?

Bmw's are strong cars as well, it looks like if you had a passenger they would have been fuked. You must have got hit hard for the car to cave in like that. Good thing your ok.

well i dont remember anything, i woke up at the hospital with a concusion. it seems that i was on the 101 exiting tampa ( going home) i was waiting for the light to turn green and when it did i went and the guy on the other side was im assuming sleeping ran the red light and ran into my passanger side taking me about 100 yards...i woke up at the hospital with no clue where i was and what happened, just yelling for someone to contact my girlfriends number , which for some odd reason , no reason at all broke up with me one week later.

when i was at the hospital i think the other guy didnt pass his catscan and had some sort of internal bleeding. i was in there for two days , while they were observiing me for my concussion. its 3 weeks later now and i still have some serious pains and spazms. grr

BMW's are strong cars but sometimes tehres nothing it can do to keep its shape....

mods in order

1. drop (coilovers)
2. wheels (hre 540r's most probably)
3. darker tint
4. airbox and ecu
5. custom made subwoofer enclosure (very light) possibly work on retrofitting the cabriolet sub into the coupe)

Did anyone see your car after the accident and say if you had a passenger it would have been all over for them? I wonder if a passenger would survive that kind of accident? Thats my biggest fear in my car....getting hit from the side. I figure the front and back are rock solid, but how about the side? Seems like a head trama just waiting to happen!
Glad you are OK. here's a couple small mod's I did...nothing too big, but you might like them. I added an AMG silver dead pedal on the left side of the brake. Looks nice...sorry no pics! Also got a silver emergency brake square thingy with AMG on it. Also looks cool! Then I changed the parking lights (city lights) to a whiter (more blue?) bulb. PIAA 969?? can't remember the number. Better than the yellow lights now!!

I hope this helps with some ideas...I haven't gotten a chance to do much yet. This car really needs a sub woofer or a whole new radio system. The stock system really sucks!!

yeap a passanger would have been killed and possibly majorly injured me , im thankful all i had was a concussion, and im also thankful that i dont remember teh accident at all , otherwise id fear that id be scared to drive for a very long time!
