hmmm which one? i have 8 tickets and 1 point (which never went on my driver record :dunno: but im def. not gonna ask questions)

the best one was when i got pulled over for following his friend who i was reporting to highpatrol , he was going like 110 i was trying to get plate down and report his ass, the cop thought i was high cause it was 4 am and my eyes were red (due to laser surgery) but he bascially harrassed me and let me go

I almost got pulled over trying to pass another slow vehicle ahead of me, but thanks to my radar detector, I was saved...

The day before Christmas 02 going north on I-75 in Tampa. A big truck I was following in the left lane moved to the right and I opened up. Guess who was waiting just around the curve with an instant on radar? Didn't have a chance. All I can say is thank you AMG for the awesome breaks, got clocked at 105 and was doint at least 115 at the time. At first I wasn't going to stop, but then I decided it wasn't worth going to jail so I pulled over when he came up behind me.

In a certain Western state ...

Had my CLK55 about 4 months in the SF bay area and went to a neighboring state for a little R&R. I was "conservative" on a road I know the LA-based car mag's use for road tests, because I have seen the Highyway Patrol lying in wait and nailing them there.

I got a local yocal escort through the next town North of where that route meets the main N-S Interstate through this Western state which I will leave nameless. In the desert air I think the city cops (joke, population <300) could her the CLK55 engine as I downshifted at the city limits. They literally followed me every inch through town as I did 24 in their piss ant 25MPH city, and I let them hear some more of the CLK55 engine right past the city limit sign.

Further North I took a real back road. Went ~45 minutes without a single vehicle in my lane and only 2 pickups going the other way. 140+ was too dicy on that road. Going into a long sweeping turn I slowed to about 110, and coming over a rise ahead of me was a Highway Patrol Jeep. I saw him, he saw me, he hit the instant on radar (the only thing it seems that state uses), and my V1 went off. I just coasted to a stop and waited for him to turn around and come back.

We hit it off OK. He wrote me up for 10 over the posted 70MPH "so the ticket would not queer my insurance" and off I went. The ticket cost me $135.

Later that day on better road I proved my CLK55 would do 155.

Drives: some slow@$$diesels
owning just a slow @$$ 1993 120 lame BHP diesel with a minor 600k kilometer I am not nearly as fast as you all are...nevertheless I did get approx 40 tickets in the past of which approx 25 were for speeding...I have been to court - I have had a 2 year probation time and after that probation time I have had my driving license suspended...
I have been pulled over in the Netherlands (approx 50-60 times), Germany, France, Hungary and USA...

diesels rule!

greetingz,

So much for being able to drive as fast as you want in Europe.

Someone I know (who shall remain nameless) got 7 tickets 2 days ago totalling 24 points and $1700. The cop gave him every ticket he could think of. Wreckless, agressive, AND negligent driving, exceeding 55mph, driving at an unreasonable speed, using the shoulder to pass a vehicle, and something like too much lane changing or something. Anyone know a good lawyer in the D.C. area?
