I went to performance products and called up:
They said they dont have tips for the w209 but they do have tips for the E class (AMG) and I think they are the same size ezhaust tips as the w209? Am I right? Plus they only sell 4 pipes, I only need 2! Seems like this is just impossible to get the 4 exhaust look on the clk55!! Thanks for your feedback guys. ( I think Im gonna go with the 19's) More traction means a better launch! |

The difference between 17's and 18's is not too big. Rather, you will feel more difference from 17's to 19's. If you have the right offsets and fitment, you should have no problem fitting 19's on the 55. If you need assistance on wheel sizes/pricing/selection, you are more than welcome to contact me.
If you want to match the exact same AMG tips as your car currently have, you have to buy the whole exhaust. There is no AMG "tips only" for the 209. Last edited by Harris; 04-23-2004 at 03:51 PM. |

Get the 19s, i don't think ride quality is reduced that much.. it's a myth.. people make it sound like you are going from a mercedes benz to a ford focus.. it's not true, with the ride combination of wheels and suspension, your ride will retain some of it's MB characteristics along with some stiffness and more responsive feel.
