It's amazing, HREs are great wheels and this one is a gem. It will look awesome on your car....I'm so jeoulous. I also really like their badge, gives it a very European look. Please post a pic when you get them installed.

The tires might be worth a lot but the rims are nothing like that.

Multi Piece AMG 18's can be bought for about $1,000 each. Normally you could re-coupe 50% for a used wheel. With tires in decent condition you may be able to fetch somwhere around $2500.00 at best ? Does this sound about right for those whom have been looking at the multi piece AMGs ?

Adam, $1,000 per sounds very high. when I had my E500 I bought a set of E55 AMG wheels with SO-3's mounted, balanced and shipped to my door for around $2,700 from tirerack.

AMIL's wheels are multi piece. That is why the cost is higher.

hehe i bought a set of hre447rs in regular silver finish like 3 weeks ago. I really like the 447rs cuz they are straight in the spokes. congrats on the purchase. Hopefully I get my wheels soon! I ordered mine with michelin pilot sport ps2s.

Those wheels look nice.
Hopefully you are not near New England Area cuz the roads are bad.
Be careful of potholes. and remember to wax them often or the shine will die.

Talking

AMIL,

I didn't catch the size you ordered and did ou get a staggered fitment if so how much of one. I was told by the guys at HRE that you could go 235/40 in the rear without much trouble be interested to know if you have gone that extreme or not.

Thanks and congrats on the wheels they are kick A$$!

Congrats Amil and AznxKCBoy, we could be the new 447 club hahaha, anyways, I will post pics later this week. I kinda wish I had gone for gunmetal too or gunmetal center but brushed aluminum face, that would be sweet!

It's black opal, so now we have three different color cars with three different finishes, would be nice to get a side by side photo!
