CLK-GTR jacking system Most vehicles are equipped with a special electro-hydraulic three-pillar vehicle jacking system. This enables the driver to raise and lower the vehicle automatically by simply using a switch which is hidden away in the service flap. Since the CLK-GTR is as close to a pure racing car as possible there is no spare wheel. Instead a tire fit is used. This liquid is stored in a can in the luggage compartment. In case of damage to a tire the car is to be raised with the vehicle jacking system and the tire fit is then easily squeezed into the tire by applying a filler hose between the can and the tire valve. The sealant is spread within the tire. The luggage compartment also holds an electric pump which can be plugged into the battery charger socket to restore tire pressure. Within a few minutes you will be able to resume your journey.
