Requested a quote for a '05 CLK55 from carsdirect.com and they referred my case to the local stealership (already talked to the stealership people in person, but they don't seem to be interested). It took them a while to get back to me (2+days) to ask about color and options. Today, I finally got a quote from the dealer. I don't know if it was intentional, the price he quoted was a little of 47 grand for a brand new CLK55. I immediately wrote back to the guy and tell me if he's serious and I don't want any rebadged CLK320s but have not gotten back a reply yet. We'll see what will happen next.
By the way, MarcusBenz, if you're reading this post, I just dropped the forms in the mail. Thank you so much! You're awesome unlike this local stealership joke.

I bought my AMG from Lineback out of the dupont registry after being greatly insulted by one of the local MB dealerships. I got the car for invoice, plus $800 shipping.
