Test drove the 04 CLK 55

I test drove a used CLK55 today, with 3200 miles on it, Keyless Go, Parktronic, CD changer, Xenons, it was hott, black with grey int. , I prefer silver tho, but the car stickered new for $87,995 before tax, and the dealer is asking for $76,000. I currently drive a 2003 M3 Convertible, silver on blk, and the CLK is nice and has nice gadgets, but its not as fast as my M3 at all, the CLK has strong mid range torque, but from the low-end the M3 is killer, but my heart is with the 2005 E55, but the CLK55 was nice. Any comments or info about the CLK55?

i like the look of a coupe so i prefer the clk to the e 55 but they r both beautiful cars

In a drag race, id put all money on a CLK55 versus your M3 vert. M3 cabs are pigs, I have driven them plenty of times. I have a S54 powered car myself and we have a W208 CLK55. The CLK55 is a faster car hands down compared to a M3 cab. If it were a drag race between a M3 coupe VS. CLK55, and assuming the driver knew what they were doing and is willing to dump his clutch, Id put my money on the M3. Anything at freeway speeds and the M3 coupe or cab is toast. The CLK 55 really shines at higher speeds thanks to its big V8.
