Silver - for a few reasons....it has the best resale value, it was AMG's F1 safety car and a 40th anniv edition for their racing heritage and the MB racing color is silver. White was my second choice.

I believe your referring to matte silver and if you run their web site you have some pull.

FWIW, when I was in germany mars red was the photographers choice.
