Car Cover for Black Series

Anyone find or know of a company that makes a car cover for the Black?

Do you put the cardboard over the rims to prevent grit getting on the cover? Hmmm I should try this I just had to wash mine

Yes, my car covers always get filthy around the wheel area so I thought I'd try this. So far so good.....

Just wondering . . .

Is the cover that you have designed for the Black Series, or are you using a cover that was designed for the "regular" (no fender flares) CLK?

I use the regular CLK factory cover. Was also concerned about the fender flares, but it actually fits fine.

thats odd - every company i called said that the regular CLK cover wouldnt fit and that there weren't enough Blacks out there to justify making one.
I tried a few companies but then again that was ab 6 mos ago.
So reg CLK cover fits fine?

I'm actually using a car cover designed for my M6 as the cover, as the M6 is wider and longer than my CLK. You can get it from bavauto.com.

It really fits great, it even has a little pocket for the sat. antenna on the roof. I drove the car last night and don't want to put the cover on before I wash her. If you want, I'll take a picture next time it's on the car so you can see for yourself. I bought the car in Nov. of last year alongside with the cover. Funny that everyone told you it won't fit.

Sounds like your interested in a factory cover or something other than what I bought so FWIW, the covercraft website has an option to select the CLK63 BS specifically from a list.

No - i just want it to fit - its not a private garage - well actually it is but its a high rise building lot- and i want to make sure it fits right so when wind blows thru garage cover doesnt blow off etc.

I dont actually "Have" the car" i just bought it off ebay and my wife jus called and the trailer is just minutes away. I'll post pics as soon as it gets here.
Wait wait that one's been done before - never mind.
The truth is i'm only 14 and i've been working my Dads hardware store for the past 6 years - i make ab 100k take home - and he helped me cosign for the Black - I'm pickin it up off the lot tomorrow. Me and some other aliases errr...members from the board are gonna meet tomorrow...
Wait wait wait ... thats been done too.
ummm... u see there was this guy and he came into my store and he said i have this car thats stuck in nigeria its owned by the Nigerian minister of Finance and all i had to do was wire 50g's to him and he'll ship me the car free of charge from Nigeria cause its illegal for him to have it there. My wife jus wired the money and car gonna be here tonight!!!
Stay tuned for pics.
Thats a good one
