Best Top Gear Video Yet.

In case you haven't seen this . . .

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HcD6Jzg-bRA

This is Jeremy Clarkson's best tribute to the Black Series, yet.

Anyone know which Clarkson video this segment is from? It features the Stig (like many other Clarkson videos of late) but it isn't Top Gear.

Anyone notice that wing? It looks a little deeper than the stock one - almost like Evosports.

I thought the very same thing, even before I saw your post. I just assumed it has been so long since I have seen one with a stock wing up close I just forgot what it looked like.

It's top gear for sure but it hasn't been on the air yet in the USA, it's actually kind of old. The best part of the video "This is the biggest thriller since michael jackson went white"

Great video, good to see Clarson enjoying the car again. If I'm right, it's from the new Clarkson Supercar Showdown, anyone know where I can buy a copy from?

It's not Top Gear, though he did review the car for Top Gear. The ending music and presentation are slightly different to a regular Top Gear review. I'm pretty sure it's a Clarkson video solo effort of which he makes around one per year.

It isn't Clarkson's Supercar Showdown either. You can see that on Google Video and it doesn't end with the CLK.

Man that Euro exhaust sounds so much better than what we get on this side of the pond. It sounds like mine when my car is cold - so raspy and raw.

The exhaust is the same euro spec vs US. I had my dealer pull the part numbers to check.

Clarkson deff has the best one liners. Like the C63 "Its the kin of Kane" "Men in Man-kinis" What an amazing car. Just think what the SL65BS will do.

I just finished watching the entire video and it's noteworthy to mention that he closes the 1hr 20min program with this tribute to "the Black" (as he likes to call it).

In the segment immediately preceding, he runs the GT-R through its paces and in the end finds it wanting. He sits on the GT-R fender and explains how he intended to close the show with accolades for the car but he couldn't do it.

He said, "I thought I would stand there, point to the GT-R and say, There you are, that is the ultimate thrill".

He shakes his head and sighs, "But it's let me down."

Then you hear a heartbeat and the roar of an exhaust combined with the incredible aerial shots of mountain switchbacks and he says, "Happily there is another ending .... and here it comes now."

Enter center stage CLK Black with the exhaust at full bellow.

It's high praise in the end because in the program he tests a DBS, Maserati GT, Alfa HC, a race equipped SLR 722, the Zonda F Roadster, a Gallardo Superlegerra, F430 Scud and the GT-R.

I am almost positive the primary cats are different from U.S to Euro spec.
