Looking for White BS

Guys Looking for a low mileage or new White BS. A few months back almost bought Cort's car but due to mods and living on an island (Oahu) dealer was gun shy to commit to warranty work if needed. I'm back in the market again - car must have no engine mods. Let me know if there is anything out there. Thanks, Scott

LAst time I heard there was new white BS at a dealer in California. Your local dealer should be able to run an inventory search. You should have bought Corts car !!! Oh well, good luck in search.

I kick myself at least once per week for not pulling the trigger on Corts car....ugh....

Lots of benefits to living on an island but many drawbacks as well!

I think the dealer you are thinking of is in the OC - Laguna Nigel - they had a white and two reds. The white sold. FJ in Chicago (same owners as here in Hawaii) had a white one as well but it sold a few weeks back. I think that may have been the last of the new white ones.

ahhhh....so you are the one who bought it. I heard you got a great deal.....they bs'd me (i think) and told me you were a very good repeat customer and that is why they didnt take my higher offer. The sales guy misremembered what i said, or just plain lied about it. Id like to give him the benefit of the doubt, but his sales manager was upset at me due to his story, and it ultimately led to the car going to you. Either way, a karma thing. Post pics.

White is a great color for the w209 CLK I gotta say....second only to black imo...

There are a few kickin around cali says the internet search...and shipping would be simplest from here too...

Sure ill share.....when i forst contact FJ a few weeks ago the first thing out of Ken's mouth was 95K. He tried to use me to leverage his manager who had another customer interested in the car. I said no thanks i dont do bidding wars....if it happens that i buy the car, it will happen. Karma. My offer was 90K. 1 month later he tells me i renegged on a deal for 95K. I told him i remembered it differently, and reminded him. I called back after a boat trip, and speak with the sales manager who tells me the same thing.... that i renegged on 95K. I told him that wasnt true, but it was moot cuz the car was sold, so i let it go.

So either the sales guy Ken lied or he has Alzheimers. They said it sold for less than my last offer, but ill let the guy who bought it share his sale price if he wants. They could have been lying about that too just to mess with me. It seems like 4 cars sold this weekend.....not many left. Dealership in Georgia wants 105K for a new black/black....they may get it with the way things are going.

Yup - and there are only 4 on eBay right now. Seems demand for these cars will be going up with very few for sale. I'd venture to say that within a year or so there will be none in the open market and prices will start to go up.

He didn't seem like a bad guy, but he just seemed so "bizarrely unreliable" and "not customer-focused" that I couldn't help but get a bit paranoid...esp since I'm thousands of miles away from them...

My wife and I bought our S8 from FJ (Fletcher Jones - for google searches) in Chicago and this must be the profile they looked for???? Our experience with them is that NOBODY in that organization can tell the truth, from the sales guy we dealt with all the way up the the GM! One of the worst automobile buying experiences I've EVER had and there have been almost 60 experiences in the last 17 years........ They are frickin horrible!

Scott, I sent you a PM about my car. Not actively trying to sell it but you know what they say about everything being for sale..... Probably one of the nicest low mileage white ones out there. Period. Less than 1500 miles, tint, film (check EVERY car with miles b/c chips come right away if the rear fenders aren't protected...), H&R spacers, red AMG logos on wheels are only mods and service is up to date. Not a mark on it anywhere.... It's perfect!

I wouldn't even sell mine for $150K. Way I see it, I wouldn't be able to find a comparable replacement...

I know I know especially after the story on the news tonight about 35 mpgs being moved up to 2016. Just like lots of other subjects, Obama is going to legislate the type of cars we all drive/buy..... There goes large displacement cars like this one....... We'll see if Scott is interested.

from what ive learned on this forum, the fender film is a huge hassle and worth a few thousand by itself, not to mention if you can find someone to do it right.

I went into the negotiations with FJ almost knowing i wouldnt be buying from them. If it worked out it would have been a pleasant surprise, but i had no expectations.
