JUST PICKED UP AN 08 DIAMOND WHITE EDITION
Hi All...after I sold my CL and a month of searching, I finally picked up an 08' White Diamond Edition instead of a pre-owned CLS55 which I almost bought at Mercedes of Beverly Hills. I have many regrets after the purchase, although the car color combo is beautiful but I rather picked up a used CLS55 for that kind of money...but the wife hated the black interior. Anyhow...I didn't feel like I offered a good deal not know there were incentives for the CLS. The sticker price was $82,000 and I offered $74,500 and they accept the offer. I've been researching all night and seem like I could of offered them 72K. I don't think I got such a good deal. What do you all think? Was it reasonalbe at 74,500?

Dual Quad Exhaust/Rear Spoiler/StarM lowering/20" rims are in the work. Can some help me out with the StarMar lowering(is that what it is called). Which dealer will be willing to do it in California and how much roughly will I be paying...I don't want to lower it using linkage like I did on my CL. For the rear spoiler...should I get it from the dealer instead of ebay to be safe?

You got a brand new one? Why not an '09? You know that the '09 are the face lifted version right?

Brand new. Didn't have the color I wanted at that time for an 09' AMG Package..plus I don't think they will butch on the pricing. The 09' have slight facelift but not big enough where it made a different for me.

great color choice...regarding the deal, it's not that bad but as Kar don and others have shown, there are significant deals out there on 08 CLS's in the area of 12k-15k off sticker

blazinginder...that's what now i am realizing and feel like sh*t that I probably lost about 5 grand. let see if they can at least hook me up with the starmark lowering and a rear spoiler tomorrow when i take the car in for ESP malfunction already.

Why not a CL65 for like 50-60k?

At least a CLS55

Did you have any special package on that deal as well? The listed price was $67899 + 12k for the AMG Sport Package WHITE DIAMOND EDITION. No parktronic thou. I guess I will have to live with it. No turning back now, can't return the car. I probably lost about $5000 on the deal.

Your car was basically used Kar Don.

Never titled but driven by the owner for 2k miles means used car values.

Plus with all the rebates back then the car was cheaper to buy as well.

What is the point of trying to make someone think they got a bad deal?

if you keep having problems see if ca has a lemon law you can take advantage of, or at least use as leverage to get a deal on the service for the new parts

WOW.Kardon never told me his car was a demo or had 2k miles on it. i always thought i paid a little too much for my 09 cls lease. big relief for me.

Okay Does anyone tried / have the backup camera installed??? It's so hard to see back there and I DONT have the parktronic either...

ha, didn't take the one with less than 200 miles because I didn't want black or a diamond white edition. All their CLS's in stock had over 150 miles and had been on the lot for over 150-200 days. Personally I'd rather take the one driven by the owner than one on 15 test drives. FYI the black or diamond white would have only been marginally more (40 bux a month on the lease). Nobody is trying to make anyone feel bad, enjoy the cars!
