New CLS MY 09
Hi all
Just checking in from Oz. I received my brand new CLS 350 MY 09 last week. Sensational car by the way. I have a query regarding the "Keyless Go" option and the "Summer Opening Feature". The owners manual indicates that with the keyless go option, you can approach the car, pull the handle, whilst keeping the handle pulled, the windows and sunroof will open and the front seats will go into ventilation mode. Now I've tried a myriad of combinations to get this thing to work, including, but not limited to, 5 star jumps and a quick prayer before pulling the handle! But alas, to no avail. Can anyone shed any light on what I'm doing incorrectly. Cheers |

i thought you can hold the unlock button on your key for a few seconds. never actually tried this, I'm basing my assumption from my BMW key.

Hey VB26(great beer by the way)
Thanks for your reply. The summer opening feature works if I use my key fob. However, this defeats the purpose of having the keyless go feature. I know it's semantics, but hey, we pay for these luxuries so they may as well work as advertised. I've attached a fairly ordinary pic of my car. Hope it works Cheers |

Try pulling the handle without opening the door. If that doesn't work then try locking the car first before doing that. Hope that works.

You press and hold the lock button on the door for a few seconds and then pull the handle as if you were opening the door. If you pull and let go, the windows open halfway. To open them all the way, you hold the door handle out until they finish opening.
