Where are you located?
Which did you replace it with? Where did you get it installed at? If you replaced it with an OEM one, it is not unheard of to get a bad pump right out of the box.

Might be a dumb question, but have you checked your coolant levels? Where are you located? Maybe I can give you a suggestion to where you could take your CLS

theres really only two things that control that supercharger, the secondary coolant circulation pump ( wich is inline with the only coolant system and should be on the passenger side near the front bumper area, not like the 65s that have a seperate cooling system for the innercoolers) and possibly a bad intake air temp sensor or if you were in the area maybe disconnected. if it sees the intake temp too high it will shut off the supercharger sometimes too

thats the outside temp sensor that should be in the front bumper it will read -40 when its disconnected or an open in the wiring, the intake temp sensor should be right before the throttle body. sholuld be a lil sensor with two wires. i havnt seen a outside temp sensor cause a supercharger not to come on. but it is possible. on the new c class w204 body if that is disconnect it will set a check engine light that outside temp doesnt correspond to intake air temp codes.

This sounds like an IC pump issue.
When I replaced mine, I did the IC pump relay along with it. It is located behind the passenger seat, inside the box. Did you bleed the system after the install? When all else fails, bring it to the dealer!

if the pump is turning on the relay is probably doing its job. but its good to replace just because whenever you do a pump. typicly to bleed the system just fill it up. warm it up and add coolant as it sucks it down. usually they dont get air pockets in the sytem. turn on your heater too. drive it and check it and top it off. the only the 65s have a seperate cooling system for the innercoolers that need to be bled with a special set up that pump the coolant through the system and pushes the air out at the same time

Wow, having the same issue, hopefully I can fix it- my outside temp is reading 90 degrees, which is about right.
