What's the difference between the two types you sell for the CLS55 AMG? The GT and I think the other is performance.

The GT racing is louder and more free flowing. More info can be found here- http://gthaus.com/SP.pdf. Let me know if you have any other questions.

Do you have sound clips of both exhaust on an actual 2006 CLS55 AMG? I'm thinking about which exhaust would best fit me. I currently have only done the resonate delete. Want an aggressive growl but don't want it to be screaming LOUD. Just a more throaty agressive growl. Thx

von 32897, get kleeman headers, lose the primary cats and make sure that your resonator delete has an x pipe instead of straight pipes. you will get a throaty and aggressive growl plus more hp and tq!

jikjak,
I should probably just go with that set up, since I'm getting ready for a Kleemann stage II. Any brand recommendation on the X-Pipe? What is the difference in switching to those instead of just keeping the straights? Thanks jikjak

hey von32897, sorry for the late reply.
the x pipe definitely gives it a more exotic and refined sound and the straight pipes will give it a more domestic/muscle car sound. i went through both and i prefer the x-pipe.
did u see my you tube videos showing how both sound?

Vivid

What performance gains can be expected with this system over the stock AMG exhaust?

Honestly since its just a rear muffler not a huge performance gain. I will dyno my stage 5 cls55 with the exhaust early next week. Hold tight.

The sound and style is what sells these exhausts, not for everyone but once you hear them its crazy addictive.
