360Forged wheels on my CLS...MUST LOOK!

CLICK HERE Forged Distributing now taking orders

It is not unusual for a company like yours to deny realities. I have no interests of knowing the corporate structure of your company. I am only reporting here what I have experienced.

My experience with 360forged (forgeddistributing) started several months ago when I purchased a set of wheels through their Hong Kong agent for my Mercedes CLS. It took several months for the wheels to arrive. At the time, I thought it was the local agent's fault. A few months later, I sent an e-mail to your company trying to source wheels for my Ferrari F-430. I expressed that I was unhappy with my past experience with the local agent, so Miguel suggested that he would sell me the wheels direct. I paid your company in full, and I was told that a delivery schedule of 6 to 8 weeks implies. Failing which, your company will be willing to refund me with a 10-percent compensation. The wheels were delayed in excess of 5-weeks, and there was absolutely no refund. Numerous e-mails were sent but not replied. Several phone calls were placed, but Miguel was never available. If you are suggesting this is how proper business is being conducted, and you have rectified all consumer issues then where is my refund?

The wheels that I purchased for my Mercedes CLS are becoming a nightmare for me. The coating on the wheels are deteriorating. Please see photos below:

The wheels are now with the local agent, and they have been there for over a month. My car is now disabled. The local agent told me that they are not getting any replies to their e-mails to you company also.

I am really disappointed. My experience with 360 Forge has been a real bummer. I don't care how many times you change your company's name, you are still a bunch of bandits.

So they take for ever to get to you ( some have waited for over a year). There is no customer service so if a problem comes up your **** out of luck. And in the end this is the durablitay of the finish

Damn! Another one bites the dust.

I waited 7 months for mine, but never got them. I ordered them straight from the company that made the wheels for them, and got way better service, .

Sorry to see this and I hope its resolved.

Guys, I had this on my mind for a second. Not trying to start up any problems but I do think about the way people on MBWorld are treated by sponsors, etc. You know we look out for one another to some degree.

First, that post from FD stating how ADV is owned or not (according to different stories) by the same guy (Jordan) who originally owned 360 Forged.

Now, I see GMP posting threads all over MBWorld about ADV wheels and people are getting all jazzed up again asking for prices. Remember how we were all whizzed about 360?

So, is that not a little strange or what? Alarming?

If there ever was a case for doing your homework before buying something this is it. Sorry about the bad finish on your wheels. Hope nobody else gets caught out like this.

Hopefully everything gets resolved. I was hoping that forged distributing would be much better than Jordan. Sadly, that doesn't seem to be the case. By sharing your experience you will save a lot of people the headache.

Same here and mine are perfect. Sorry to hear about your luck. Those wheels are VERY dirty do you think dirt and grime are responsible for the peeling and flaking?

It's definitely not dirt and grime.

Strange enough, all I ever used was soap and water on all my wheels. I have a few cars but all the other wheels are fine. I have wheels from HRE, Advan, BBS, they are all looking like new.

I think this statement pretty much says it all.

Sequels suck most of the time, and this is no exception.

In the first picture, though...is that flaking, or corrosion?

They just screwed themselves over again I hope they didn't screw over too many in progress considering the long wait you had. I could see some board members actually being ashamed to come forward about this too since they would be ridiculed for purchasing from them in the first place. Best of luck

simonlam168, sorry to hear about the sh*&ty wheels. Glad you have had better luck with others, I'm amazed with the amount of business you do the vendor wasn't willing to take the wheels back and deal with the mfg directly.

I had a set of BBS RS-GTs on my S4 and I had the same exact problem. It's more than likely a chemical or some sort, that was sprayed onto your wheels, and has now started pitting. Wash your wheels by yourself, with soap/water or a diluted wheel cleaner.
This is more common with older wheels, but for the short time that you have owned them, they shouldn't be this way. Most wheels come with 1 year warranty and 360 Forged should take care of this for you. Good luck bud.

Emilio,

For your information:

-Your company is terrific with e-mails before you have received my payment for the wheels.
-When I wrote to you regarding late delivery and other issues, my e-mails were never answered.
-My wheels are always washed with soap and water. I have in my possession wheels from BBS, HRE, ADVAN, OEM PORSHE, and OEM FERRARI but they are all fine except my 360Forged(Forged DST) from my Mercedes CLS.
-I did not get anywhere with you company regarding a solution to my defective wheels, wheel bolts and to my late delivery compensation of 10-percent refund on my Ferrari wheels prompted me to go on to the car forums to get your attention. My phone calls and my e-mails to your company over the last month obviously did not get anywhere.
-At this moment, I have given up hope entirely on 360Forged(Forged DST).
-I have expressed my thoughts, and I hope this subject will go to rest soon.

Threads like this are what make forums invaluable. How else would anyone know to stay away from this company. Sorry about your experience simonlam168, I hope they resolve it for you but it certainly doesn't sound like they have any plans to.

They probably got him new rims and threw him a nice little discount from what he already paid.

I am just curious if he got new rims, one new rim, refinished the rim/rims that were bad etc. A new set would really be doing the right thing and if that is the case, my opinion they should get some props on putting the past issues behind them.
