so, is it idling that way without any trimming ?
and, just to recap, is that sound from LT, race cats, no secondaries, modded resonator and different mufflers also ?

i dont know what trimming is. that sound is strictly the LT. no alterations to the secondary cats or resonators. primary cats are gone. mufflers havent been touched...

about sound, seemed to me a quite open exhaust. not one with primary cat delete only (and LT, OK !)
please tell if you also perceived all that difference in sound or it is only because of the recording camera ..
what about difference in responsiveness, till those 3000 rpms ?
thanks

aggressive cams usually require to raise the idle a bit. so, I understand from you that that it was not raised, even with DAS only.

the idle though is all over the place. it starts idling very low - almost to the point of shut off and then spikes up trying to compensate. my idle has NOT been raised as of yet.
the car is in my garage and will not be driven again until tuned. those recordings were done taking it from the shop to my garage. i really dont have any way of comparing how it runs now to before because i havent driven it but very little and the little i have driven was being quite gentle. my biggest fear is it not performing to what i wouldve liked, but after riding in PTE's car with similar components only in a CLK with less mods - it should be a show-stopper

well it certianly isnt repsonding better then before so yes i would say it is worse. but then again its hard to gauge with the little driving i have done at low speed and rpm's.

The Tuner that I use and he's really good and will work with you writes the software for the ECU and does all of the tuning himself. "ASR Engineering" in Miami and his name is Abid (786)258 0009. He does and is really well known for his Twin Turbo kit for the M5's .Tell him the John with the Sliver Cls sent you he'll treat you right.+

It is this sounds just like my car, isn't odd tho because they sounds amazing are can be supper loud at WOT but not all inside the car! Even the dudes down at dyno comp who slap exhaust on car after car are in love with sound from these headers on my amg
being quite honest the responsiveness is not noticibly different yet. the key ingredient is the tune. that will tell all. the sound is a very significant increase but not in the cabin. only outside. it has a hotrod type sound now due to the cams and LT i assume. perhaps hooleyboy can comment as to whether that sound is standard for the LT headers on our engine. if it isnt typical of the LT's and primary cat delete then it must be attributed to the cams & PnP as well.
