Guess the best way to get an answer is to ask the insurance directly hehee~~
Each company is a bit different, but most should cover it.

Good luck.

That is truley the worst thing that can happen to a person's car.. how i feel for you. If the insurance doesn't cover it we should put together some sort of donation fund lol. That's damn horrible.

Try some of that orange crap. Forgot the name, it's available at like Autozone. God, forgot the name....Orange something....hmm, lemme look it up quick.. Fast Orange! That's it. It's supposed to be an abrasive, so hopefully it'll get that paint out.
Works great to clean the leather seats... Don't forget the leather conditioner afterward ... Safe enought for you skin, why not leather, in the car that is...

Thanks a lot of you guys for the cleaning tips! I used mineral spirite and cleaned off the paint on most of the non fabric surfaces, except those hard to reach cracks and small gaps. I also tried the Goof stuff from OSH and got the paint off from the carpet. But still no luck on the seats.

My insurance said comprehensive can cover the repair and scheduled an inspection tomorrow. I'll see what they say before doing anything more.

So if the Paint Can was under the seat, why is there no paint on the driver side floor but all the way up on the dash and steering wheel. Something is fishy here. Why dont you tell us what really happend.

I thought it was fishy at first, then I realized with all that pressure in there, the can won't sit still and piss all over his carpet, try it for yourself, that thing will take off all over the place

get some brake cleaner. i know it sounds weird but it will take the paint off of your clear coated vinyl surfaces. just spray it onto a towel and start rubbing. worked for me when i got some extra paint when i was doing custom interior work. as for the materials . . . i would see if maybe the brake cleaner will take it out of the carpeting too i guess. i dunno what to tell you with those.

somebody from saturnspot.com found this and posted it up on our forum; looks like you still needed an answer . . .
